Revolve Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.
Location: Nova Scotia , Canada
Specialty RN can be assigned to a unit with patients that require more complex care. The Specialty RN is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care. The Specialty RN provides clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient/client care settings. The Specialty RN has the knowledge, skill and judgment needed to provide competent, evidence-based nursing practice. As a member of a collaborative care team, the Specialty RN works with other disciplines to coordinate care to achieve patient/family outcomes. The Specialty RN contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the service/unit and coordination of patient care. The Specialty RN complies with documentation processes at NSHA sites.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in large urban emergency departments is highly preferred.
Must have completed and maintain up-to-date certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) *considered an asset
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Minimum 1 year
- Vulnerable sector check (within 2 years of application date)
